48 Hour Film Slam!

Cohase Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the Second Annual 48 Hour Film Slam! on the weekend of September 16-18. Last year succeeded beyond all our hopes. Six filmmaking teams participated. We hope to attract even more this year.

Teams will be given genre assignments at 6:15pm Friday evening and have 48 hours to complete their maximum 7-minute film. Teams will be required to use an assigned local landmark in their film, along with an assigned line and an assigned prop. Films will be shown to the general public on Sunday evening at 7:30pm and judged immediately thereafter. All the teams must finish their films within the 48 hour time limit (lack of sleep is no excuse; in 2010 at least one team completed their editing in the car on their way to the judging venue) and according to the rules.

Assigned Line: Do the dance. You gotta do the dance.
Assigned Prop: A Havahart Trap.
Assigned Location: Bandstand at Haverhill (NH) Common.
