	• By advertising your business throughout the year … Your business membership includes a listing and locator placement on our full color Area Guide & Map … in 2008 over 20,000 were printed and distributed by more than 40 retail and travel/tourism establishments. The new edition will be available in early spring. Your membership includes a listing and web page, or link to your web page, on the Membership Directory of our website, www.cohase.org., and our primary source for marketing the area. Your membership supports our representation of local member businesses through active participation on the Eastern Vermont Regional Marketing Program including state tourism websites and the Eastern Vermont Gateways promotional booklet.

	• By creating opportunities for you to show case your business in our Business After Hours events.

	• By reporting on important business issues and events through timely communications to our members including our newsletter,*The Cohase Connection.*

	• By leading the effort to educate local businesses on maximizing their opportunities in relation to the expected significant increase in retail traffic that will accompany the new Wal-Mart opening.

	• By offering access to affordable group health and dental care for employees of Vermont businesses through our partnership with the Vermont Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, and New Hampshire business through our membership in the New Hampshire Associate of Chamber of Commerce Executives.

	• By sponsoring, or co-sponsoring events like The Whole Hog Music & BBQ Festival and Paddle the Border which attract tourism to our region.
