PARKING DIRECTIONS:

There will be a sign at the Wright’s Mountain Road trailhead leading you to the designated parking areas, which will add a little time to your hike. You are welcome to drop off any gear at the trailhead before parking to limit your schlep time.

Local law enforcement has determined that NO PARKING is allowed along the road for this event. Please honor this safety measure carefully and find a place to park completely off the road. Since there is limited parking, all participants are encourage to carpool– there are Park and Rides near the I-91 exit in town, and also a smaller one along Route 25 West near Chelsea Road.

OTHER IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS TO HELP YOU DETERMINE YOUR PARTICIPATION NEEDS:

*Because it is on municipal property, this will be an alcohol-free event.

*Children should be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

*If you plan to stay a while or camp over, please bring any and all items you may need, including plenty of water.

*We will have some lighting at the lookout after dark; flashlights and head lamps with fresh batteries are still strongly recommended.

Thank you in advance for your consideration and respect for these details.
